Neil L. GlazerNeil L. Glazer joined the firm as an associate in January, 2000. He specializes in complex civil and appellate litigation, including in the areas of money laundering and terrorist finance, securities and financial services, antitrust, e-commerce and technology, copyright and trademark, and international human rights, and also represents select clients in the entertainment industry.

Education

Mr. Glazer received a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, where he was also awarded the School of Arts and Sciences’ prestigious Dean’s Scholar Award and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 1993, Mr. Glazer received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he also worked as a research assistant to Professor Hal S. Scott, the Nomura Professor of International Finance and Director of the Program on International Financial Systems. Prior to college, Mr. Glazer was involved in the entertainment industry, including operating his own technical services company.

Bio

From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Glazer served as a clerk for the Hon. Dennis G. Jacobs, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. After his clerkship, Mr. Glazer worked at two prominent New York law firms, Sullivan & Cromwell and Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, before relocating back to the Philadelphia area, where he grew up. He then joined Kohn, Swift & Graf.

 

Since joining the firm, Mr. Glazer has represented numerous plaintiffs and defendants in human rights, antitrust, toxic tort, consumer fraud, securities, international terrorist finance and other complex class and non-class litigation, including the following: Julin, et al., v. Household Int’l Inc., (N.J. Super.); Ehrenreich, et al. v. Sensormatics Electronics Corp., et al., No. 95-6637-CIV-ZLOCH (S.D. Fla.); Gilford Partners, L.P. v. Mr. Glazer has also represented numerous corporate and institutional clients in criminal and regulatory proceedings and investigations.

 

Mr. Glazer is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, New York, and United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the District of Colorado.
